The Adult Basic class emphasizes on the fundamentals or basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. No experience is necessary. The Basic classes cover techniques that can help you tremendously during a real life confrontation. Frequent practice and repetition of the basic techniques conditions your body to react quickly and effectively. The program will teach you the defenses against the most common street attacks. Additionally, basic grappling techniques are taught covering various situations on the ground. The Basic class is not just for beginners, or white belts, but all belt levels are encouraged to attend basic classes.

The Adult All Levels class is for all belt levels. Generally one should have at least 4 - 6 months of Basics before attending the All Levels classes. Techniques from the Basic program will continue to be reinforced in these classes, but also you will learn new techniques. You will learn to put the basic techniques together into various combinations, improve your timing, and expand your current knowledge. The All Levels Class will be a mix of Gi and No-Gi techniques.

The Open Mat time provides an opportunity for you to drill or spar with various partners. There is no instruction during the open mat time. Typically a timer is set for 5 minute rounds. Open Mat time should be utilized to not only spar, but to drill in repetition various techniques or sequences.

Our Kid’s program offers a fun, friendly and safe environment for children to learn and experience an extremely practical martial art system unlike any other. Kid’s will learn the self-defense techniques that will give them the self-confidence to deal with bullying, peer pressure and other similar challenges they may encounter. Our program teaches each child proven effective techniques that will help them stand up for themselves when necessary.
Our Kid’s program provides your child the opportunity to have courage, self control, respect, and discipline, while at the same time having fun. Your child’s concentration, coordination, and fitness levels will also improve.
Classes are structured with exercises, technique instruction, and drills. Classes are for children ages 8 – 13.

The Women’s Self-Defense Class meets 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. Sign-ups are required for each session. Upcoming sessions will be announced on our HOME page. Class size will be limited to 12 participants. Class attire is comfortable work-out clothing such as t-shirts and sweat pants.
This program will prepare women for real life threatening encounters. It will enable you to perform simple effective escape techniques, and will remove ones feeling of helplessness. Our techniques will provide you with the skills and knowledge to escape from an attacker, whether you are standing on your feet or on the ground. The escape moves are based on leverage and technique and do not require strength, speed or coordination. Our techniques are unique as they do not rely exclusively on striking, as other martial arts. Striking based techniques are not effective against a bigger, stronger person, and are useless on the ground, which is where you may end up when being attacked.

Private classes are available throughout the week during the mornings and afternoons, and weekends. Please inquire for more info and pricing.
You may consider private classes if your personal or work schedules don't allow you to attend our normal group classes. Also, if you are only able to come to 1 group class a week, or a few classes a month, private classes are a great way to get additional time on the mat and learn at a reasonable rate. Private classes are also a great option for those who are not yet comfortable taking class in a group setting, and who want to get some specialized instruction to prepare them for group classes.
